not true.you need back pressure on a turbo to help spent gasses.keeps the flow going.fact i suggest you read one of dave vizards engine books.

nope, once it's out of the turbo it just wants the gas to sod off as fast as possible. Back pressure leads to reduced gas flow, which reduces gas speed and turbine speed. Can also increase lag in some conditions.

Normally aspirated engines are a different kettle de poissons.
