Hi
Check out www.nyssa.ltd.uk/Y10/
The best bit is a complete write up on the building of a 270bhp 4 wheel drive Lancia Y10 using parts from an Integrale.
How much work!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers
Adrian
P.s If you can`t find the site go to www.y10turbo.co.uk and use the link page.

The link should now work on yours. the y in y10 needs to be a capital - webservers are fussy :)

I meant syling wise :)

The grale bonnet was needed as a Y10 bonnet is to small... also the vents help keep the engine temp down.

Personally I hate black boots on y10's unless it's a black car :p

I love this car, and Trevor, who owns it is a top guy as well, met him at Brooklands last Autumn at the Italian car day. It was his Lancia Kappa race car that was at the Auto Integrale stand (for anyone who was there) as they also prepare that as well as keeping the Yintegrale's 2L 8V engine in top tune.

The bonnet has to be like that cos the engine is so much bigger and therefore sits higher up, you can't see but the bonnet had a 10mm rim welded all the way round the bottom edge & the hinges extended, just to get clearance and the oil cap had to be removed as it hit the bonnet meaning he had to remove the rocker cover to fill it up, although I think he has solved this now by getting a trick cap made up. The integrale grills (EVO ones at that as there are 4) on the Y10 bonnet where always part of the plan.

Aaron.

RIGHT! to clear up! i know about the clearance problems etc, and i quite like the hump on the bonnet (y) i read the WHOLE story a little while back :D

my orginal remark was about the vents, and how if i wasnt going for the whole YIntergrale look id have something more subtle! :p

Met Trevor at a Coupe meet on Sunday in his Kappa Coupe road car (also was a Kappa estate there too, meaning something like half the Kappas in the country were there :D ) and had a look around it - shares the same engine at the Coupe Turbo. He's putting a Coupe Turbo engine in his racecar this year I think :)
