Hi, I am new to the forum so please forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong place I am thinking of buying a Fiat 500......I have been to look at one recommended by a friend. It is a 1969 Fiat 500 nuova, right hand drive, 25,000 miles or kilometres (i cant remember), no mot, no tax - this doesnt bother me as it is tax exempt. It has a fold back sunroof. It looks to be in quite good condition, might need a little work to get it into tip top shape but I dont mind getting my hands dirty! Reciepts suggest that it was restored about 4 years ago, but like I said appears to be in good condition. The person will only sell this if the right price is offered (not technically for sale at the moment) and he has told me to 'make him an offer' I have no idea what it is worth so any help would be greatly appreciated!
I would suggest that you look at as many sites as possible and see what other similar cars are going for (not forgetting to make a note of them to show the current owner). There's always a few for sale on ebay plus:- Classic cars for sale---car and classic.co.uk---rouwette classic cars.com (a Dutch site) and www.fiat500direct.co.uk (but they can be a abit on the high side---these are the main sites, I hope this helps you--all the best--buy it and join the club!!
