Does anyone know what kind of resistance reading i should have on my HT leads?

Hmmm.... close to zero (just going by the laws of physics). Given that infinity is an open circuit i.e. the leads conductor is broken.

I don't understand why you are asking this question. High tension leads normally fail because the insulation degrades, meaning arcing can occur between the leads inner conductor and something that is negatively earthed.....for example the engine block. Using a multimeter to measure the resistance of a high tension lead won't tell you anything unless it gives a very large number, in which case you know the conductor is broken.

Mind you, I don't know everything, and stand to be corrected.

the actual value will vary greatly depending on the brand and spec of the leads. better ones have a lower resistance. however what is important is the difference between each lead. all 4 should be very similar (almost the same). if one has a higher resistance than the others it will means the spark wont be as strong on that cylinder, leading to unever running and a loss of power and fuel economy.
