Bought one of these recently, just wondering if anyone else snapped one up?

They were on dabs for 100 quid, plus 30 cash back. So 70 quid all in.

Ive rarely used it but the screen is superb, although it can lock in from time to time and route calculation is lagging. Considering the processor in the sat nav it should be out performing the tom tom's

Has anyone loaded tom tom onto it or that>?

I know someone who's bought one and sent it back cause its crap. The satnav is a dedicated device so literally the only thing running on it is the satnav software so 100% CPU time and Memory is dedicated to the software.

The CPU is a decent component i dont know why it freezes up so much, im guessing its because of the Hi Def screen which is 800 x 400 pixels. Compared to the 480 x 272 the tom tom range offers. Even the more uper clas models dont compete against the screen of this...

The device its self is quite good i think, well worth the 70 and updating software is only making it better. It does everything i want it to and the gps receiver is far more sensitive than my tom tom v2. Wish i could put the tom tom software on it though.

Its more newbie friendly, and easy to use.
