just popping on to say hello as a newbie on here,
my name is chris & at the moment own an 07 plate panda 100hp,
this is my second new style panda i have owned my first was an 04 plate 1.2 dynamic skydome it also had aircon, the car itself stayed with me only 1 1/2 months because a couple of times before i even knew of this forum i had to take the car in to simonstone the selling dealer to fix the airbag light problem (kept illuminating) while driving,while i was there i tried to resist but in the end i gave in & bought an alfa 156 2.4jtd.
i have gone to the panda 100hp from an 06 plate alfa 159 2.4jtdm, i loved the 159 but hated it,s fuel costs it cost me £130 of diesel to do 840 miles which on my 156 2.4jtd would last me in £ costs 2 1/2 months running, besides when i bought the 159 i was single & to be honest i thought i would not find a young lady to love, but all that has changed,
not only am i seeing a young lady we are engaged and the wedding is next year and also looking for a house to rent together.
so the main reason for ditching the 159 was running costs, so i had to find a car what 1 has got good running costs & 2 charicter and the panda 100hp fit the bill,
i do miss the 159 esp the sound the 5 cyl 2.4 jtdm engine sound through the power range but i do not miss it,s costs,
to me many people said own a 1.9 jtdm 159 instead but to me that unit is to GM for my liking plus it still does not sound as good as the 2.4jtdm!
