Technical How to Program Nav+ ???

I have a nearly new Stilo Abarth with Connect Nav+. Unfortuntely, the previous owner (a dealer) has lost the Connect Nav+ manual. I have ordered a new one but it's on back order with no ETA.

In the meantime, I have figured most of it out but cannot figure out how to setup the voice commands. Can anyone help?

Hi,

The voice commands are preset. They consist of up to four levels.
The recognition is variable, especially when there's background noise, like windows open.

For a taster try

Press the voice command button.
say 'CD Player'
wait for the beep
say 'Random'
wait for double beep.

If you're lucky that will turn on shuffle mode on the CD player.

A lot of the time the system just responds with 'sorry', which I assume means it didn't understand.

You can assign voice commands to phonebook entries by recording the name. Then you just say 'call... fred'

If you want I can scan and send you the pages of the manual that list the voice commands (as it's only a few pages).

Thanks for the tips Graham. Tried 'em out and some seem to work...but lot's of sorries. Maybe the system doesn't like my cockney accent!!

I already had a kind offer of scans from someone else on the forum (PM'd me) and got them today.
