How to install new stereo?

What I did was get a direct 12V feed from the socket near the gear stick. Just ran a bit of cable to the connections and connected it with that, turns off automatically when I take my key out

Did you used a scotch lock for this? If yes, which size? And which size of cable did you used?

In addition to the fascia holding the new cage in place, my Sony MEX-N4000BT has a bolt that you screw into the back of the headunit and a rubber stopper that you attach on the back which is supposed to push into the factory radio support. It's a little short but replacing it with the Fiat one from the factory radio makes it long enough. It needed a wind of tape around the bolt to make the factory support stay in place though!

Sorry for the late reply but I used some 5 amp cable I think and a scotch lock, not sure what size though, sorry. You got it sorted?
