My friend and I bought a Yugo GV 1.3L 1991, a fiat 128 basically.
We have 4x98 lug pattern and we need new wheels ASAP.

Can we fit 4x100 onto 4x98 temporarily? If not, what's the long term solution?
I'm located in NYC, USA. 4x98 is not very common here, the 4x100 however, is extremely common.

I heard of wobbly bolts and wheel adapters. What's the best course of action?:worship:

Welcome at Fiat Forum.
Keep the Yugo alive!!!
The Yugo is actually based on the Fiat 127.
I wouldn't recommend 4X100 wheels, as you will need "wobly" bolts indeed.
Not a very safe sollution imo.
Almost all Italian, small cars use 4X98 wheel patern, so find those somewhere.

If you insist, you'll need this:

Thanks for your reply!

127, eh? So that means, the wheel base, bore size , and the offset for the stock wheels is the same as the fiat 127 as well?

My problem is finding 4x98, it's impossible almost.

Our yugo has 13 inch rims with 3.5inch width. Everything ebay or craiglist has, are 17", 18" which are 7.5 to 8.5" wide. Those will not fit in our wheel well.

Is there anything we can do besides wobbly bolts?
Where can I find the bore size, and offset for the yugo, so I can at least know what to shop for ?

They don't have the option for yugo.
and it won't let me select the models for 1988-1991 fiats. :/

I looked up the fiat 127, and the uno. It seems all fiat from 1980 till 1992 or so, use 58.1mm bore size. 35 ET

Is it safe to assume that my zastava koral aka yugo also has 58.1mm wheel hub and 35 offset?

Wobble bolts are probably your best bet if you're set on it. Just try and buy from a reputable source!

I spoke with Wheel Power in Devon about them, and they said they are safe, they've never had any problems. Think it's the word "wobble" that puts people off! I'm still not a fan personally.
I've had a similar problem PCD finding. not easy!

The bore is too big, but spacers can solve that I guess.

Thanks for the replies guys, I guess Wobble bolts is the way to go.
I read up quite a bit on them and watched a view videos.
It seems that everyone that says they're bad only saying it because of the name, and they're scared it will shake loose, cause more stress on the hub, etc etc.

It reality the wheel sits on the hub (in hub-centric cars, which is almost every passenger car ever made) and the bolts only hold the wheel down. All the stress, and tension is on the hub of the car, and the wheel.

So wobble bolts to the rescue.

You can messure the bore size yourself easily on your car/existing wheels..
ET 35 will be allright.

Yea, that'd be the best way I guess.

Why be lazy and guesstimate when I can just measure it.
Will do that today.

The wheels on the yugo are laughably small. 140/80r13

Can't wait to make this car into a beaut
