Technical how to bed in my new turbo?

hi guys, just fitted my new turbo to the 20vt... put in new anti-freeze and done oil + filter change obviously,

so what do i do next? is it similar to rebuilt engine, i.e run it in gently for 1000miles??

or do i just turn boost up to 1.2 bar and go for it??

any help much appreciated!

never run in a new turbo so cant say for sure. but i would think its not as critical as an engine with just the impreller moving

dont need to run a new turbo in just make sure you oil prime it first by just pulling the ignition fuse near the passenger bulkhead or removing all the coils then spin the engine over till you see 3 bar on the oil pressure gauge

fantastic guys.... just what i wanted to hear!!! i did remove coils and prime turbo with oil 1st. so all seems good....

i may just run lower boost initially, just so i can make sure everything is running right 1st!!
