How much should it cost

Oki I have a fiat sei and I was wondering how much *rough estimate* it should cost me to get some jobs done
1st job window tinting for the rear side windows and rear window
2nd job fitting new springs iv got the springs just notthe skill or tools to fit them.
3rd job to flare my arches.
4th job to fit a universal exhaust again iv got the parts
If I get prices than I kno how much to save up since I ain't working lol thanks for any help

Hard to say

prices seem to vary widely for tinting, i could only guess about £70-80 to do a sei proffesionally, the cheaper alternatives are getting the tint film yourself and fitting it or glass tint spray. getting a finish with either thats passable can be very tricky, and is really a window out job, or at very minimum, a roomy garage job, you dont want to mess about with tint film in any breeze at all and there isnt much room to work in car !!

2nd job, probably about 2-3hours garage labour, so at a normal garage, your looking at anywhere between £85-120 for the fitting of springs all round.

3rd job, do you really need them flared? if your only going for 14" wheels its not needed unless you go for a stupid drop on the suspension, it very much depends on the bodyshop, a backstreet one may well do it for £50 cash in hand, a well known one may well be triple that

4th job, id pay no more than £30-40 quid MAX to get a backbox fitted, depending on if any modifications are needed to make it fit. but its easy enough to do yourself, so perhaps give it a go? it depends how universal they are...centos don't seem to like universal backboxes, they seemingly sit pretty awkwardly and if your going for a drop, it could be vulnerable to bumps and road debris

yup sure thing, just let's know

i play all sorts from bluegrass to ho down specials, even the occasional bach and mozart.....or i could just stick to car fiddling.....probably best......
