hello all. yet an other newbie on the site...
i have owned a few fiats in the past, the best being a marea weekend 2.4td 124. great car wish autotrader had some for sale!!
rite then my question to anyone that knows is this- the old fiats had the engine PS (power rating in metric) stuck on the side of the car front wing. But being a snobbish bunch of land walking apes fiat no longer places the PS engine output on its cars anymore, which for those like me who want to buy a newer fiat stilo estate means some investigation work when i am on the forecourt!!
now how do know the engines out put i want the most powerfull diesel that was fitted to the estate stilo.
(need to keep up with the germans see, i live just out side berlin and dear wifey has had a taste of my leon v6 4motion and wants some more umph but with economy and enough space to put the snowboarding gear)
so can i identifiy the PS of the engine by the engine code on the vin/car id plate?
many thanks to all.
Kevatron!
