Technical Horn stopped working

Hi guys I have a Mk2 punto speedgear auto. My horn stopped working couple months back and I really need to get it fixed I located the fuse box and when i press the horn I can hear the relay clicking I checked the fuse and all seems to be ok. This car features an airbag in the steering wheel.

What can I do to fix it please

Buy a new horn maybe?

yes well where is the horn? and how do I change it? pictures please?

the horn i think is located just above the radiator on the left hand side.. try putting a multi meter on the too cables and see if the wiring isnt faulty

Quite often the wiring and/or terminals corrode. Clean up the terminals, if still not working confirm the horn is OK by trying on the battery.

If the relay is clicking its nothing to do with your steering wheel.

Go from there.

Hi, common fault on MK2 as the horn faces forward behind front grille as already said & water enters the horn & kills it, replace the horn, Halfords do them from £13 high note or low note, I opted for the low note as deeper sound, but when fitting turn the horn or bend bracket so water can,t enter the entrance of the horn.

brilliant thanks for all your answers...well since last night I have noticed that the horns wire has come out the spade connector. I popped to halfords and got new spade I have fitted it back on. But now the problem is the horn is on constantly so had to pull out again ??? what could be wrong now?

mine stopped working and sounded like a fog horn before it did. i had a universal one from fast parts for £8 and its really easy to fit
