Just joined this Forum. Recently got my 1998 (T) reg 85SX 16V through the MOT. welding and a front exhaust box. Including the test fee only £145. Result!

Life in the old dog yet I hope.

Nice to get that fresh MOT ticket. My 1998 Sei went straight through - I nearly needed smelling salts.

Yes with old cars I always find it hard to figure a price that means ill scrap it. Can't really buy anything decent for under a grand so I thought I'd go to £500 max for repairs. Had the car now 3 years. Paid £800 for it. Spent about a bit on the 2 previous MOTs but the thing is old uns can't depreciate like say a 5 grand car would.
