Bought my Stilo privately a couple of months ago. Have been making a note of the little faults since then. Had them all fixed today by my local dealer and though their diagnosis might help others. The faults were:
1. Squeak from rear suspension
2. Wobble through steering column just off straight ahead
3. Sat Nav software only 8.3
4. Crackly reception on radio
5. Broken front grille (stone damage)
6. Rattlely rear speaker
7. Lumpy running for the first 2-3 minutes when cold
The solutions were:
1. Broken clip on the parcel shelf that sounded like rear suspension (even the technician thought so at first) - Covered by Warranty
2. Geometry out on front wheels causing inside of front tyres to wear right down. Rejigged and new tyres - Covered by Warranty
3. Upgraded to 9.7 - FOC
4. See fix for 7
5. New grille fitted. Worth remembering that a grille with a badge is £60 but without (you can use the old grille's badge) is only £22. Dealer didn't charge for fitting.
6. New speaker fitted - Covered by Warranty
7. New Engine Control Unit fitted. Also fixed crackle on radio - Covered by Warranty
On top of this the dealer collected and delivered the car from my home and washed and hoovered it while they had it. Not all FIAT dealers are that bad....
