i need to find some way of getting a wire from the engin bay to the car interior, to add a switch for some noens. i also need to wire in an amplifier to the battery. the engin bay seems completely sealed from the rest of the car. my previous ford (s*!t) had a foam block which u could just push the wire through does a bravo have the same anywhere.

its a 1.4 btw

there is one somewhere in the passenger footwell, but i have never looked for it so i don't know where.

Iused one in the floor of the boot then ran the wires under the car to the engine. hope this helps

I PUT MY RCA CABLETHROUGH WHERE THE ALARM CABLE GOES THOUGH,BOUT A FOOT DOWN BESIDE THE BATTERY, I HAD TO USE A HEAVY DUTY THICK ASS CABLE TO SPLICE TWO AMPS, THE CABLE WILL COME OUT BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX AND EASY PEASY AFTER DAT

To be honest, it's a bitch of a job. I had to get a screwdriver and prise it open to fit my guage 2 cable through the hole to the engine bay for my amp!

It comes out about 12 inches below the fuse box in the engine bay I think and inside it's just below the glovebox.

Its easy as pie, pull back the carpet in the passenger footwell and you will find a big black rubber grommet. Its about level with the bottom of the dash.

Carefully jab a hole through it with a screwdriver. There are cables the other side so don't drill it.

Now either get an assistant to help or get a bit of coathanger. Stick the coathanger through the hole, you will need to bend the end so it points up.

The grommet is behind the carpet type stuff at the back of the engine bay. Stick your hand down and feel for the coathanger. Hook the wire onto the end, pull the coathanger back through the hole and job done.

Don't forget to fuse the amp wire as close to the battery as you can. You don't want to see your prize car go up in flames cos of a short circuit.
