.....just done a qoute for a years time on a 1.6 active 3dr with A/C year 2002

2yrs held license with a years no claims

aged 21

750 quid :slayer:

Stilo ownership is a possibility pretty soon :yum: :chin:

Seems high to someone who pays £250 f/c for a JTD but you don't appear to be phased. How the hell are you youngsters supposed to progress with premiums that high and house prices what they are. I see my nephews & nieces living at home for ever unless something drastic happens. Hope you get your Stilo though.

Was quite impressed with that qoute

I am definately considering getting one, i dont see many in silver, wasnt it a very popular colour for stilos?

would consider the JTD and get it angeltuned if possible, stick some 17'' claws on it would looks schweet although the qoute for the 1600cc active was pretty good :)

Just done a qoute for a JTD in a years time manufactured in 2002 which is worth 5,000

exactly the same price as the 1600 active :chin:

The benefits of moving from a 1.6 03 Dynamic to an 04 JTD.

Insurance went down by £50
Re-map at £300 made a world of difference
53 mpg vs 28 mpg
Residual values much better than the petrol version

disadvantages

Sound system was shocking, cost me £1K to replace it.
Everybody wants to have a go in it.

Aren't the sound systems the same in your 1.6 and JTD

My JTD came with **** sounds and poxy speakers in cones/pods. The system in my 1.6 was outstanding and required no upgrade. Perhaps that had been upgraded when it was 1st purchased? I bought it from Hertz rent a car. In fact, I think there is an upgrade option. Next Stilo I get will have it.

I did it on autotrader on the insurance website bit, which links to loads of sites, and then all the qoutes in order from cheapest to most expensive, Endsleigh was the cheapest, they must be desperate for business as they phoned me up this morning asking 'what the situation was with my stilo qoute'

The gods must want me to have one :chin:

JTD is looking very possible over petrol :yum:

How come silver isnt a popular colour for stilos???

ive done one of them im too lazy to look myself quotes and they are not accurate enough it jumps to too many conclusions do it yourself
you could say its rare:p
does it matter if anyone else likes it, it would be your car
