Hi everyone, i am soon to be (hopefully) the proud owner of a 1.9d sporting on an 08 plate. I've read the thread with the known issues on, just need a bit of reassurance that i'm doing the right thing and a few little pointers to look out for, with this being the first car i've actively bought by myself! Ha ha

Well you have read through the posts so it's all down to what you think now! Personally i'd be very very picky as the GP has much more than it's fair share of problems however there are plenty about. Budget for future repairs more than you usually would.
