Bravo (Classic) Hi peeps I seem to have a power problem ?? Help!

Hi there Im new to this forum so hope I am posting this in the right place lol

I have a 2000 2001modle bravo sx 80 but when acelarating thought the gears it gets to a point then seems to loos power and just sound like it is has a bad flat spot it just takes for ever to get any speed. It sound like it has to much air and not enuf petrol to burn proply if that makes sence just sound like it is farting lol and that is with the my foot to the floor first gear is not so bad don't no if it would be some thing like the air intake sencer or co2 sencer it kind of sounds like the exhaust is blowing but it has all new exhaust on it apart from the cat and manifold so I don't have Clue lol so dont no if any 1 els has had a prob like this or might no what it could be I would be really happy thanks jay

Start with the basics. Spark plugs, HT leads and coil pack. If all of those are all fine it could be the injectors. Although not sure how you would properly test them without removing them.

Could also be the throttle body being full of gunk so it isnt moving freely.

have you checked the cat? See if its blocked? Obviously, check the easier things first! Air filter, sparks etc!
