hi there it might be a problem with the connection. check the wires leading to the brake lights

Hi Emma,

I have had a look all seems good, I have hit the glove box cover before and they have come on but as soon as i switch engine off they won't come back on. I have checked all connections in the fuse box for the brake lights and all seems good. confused.

Many Thanks

if you have hit the glove box before and they have come on then theses defently a wire connection problem between the brake pads and the lights. you sure the wires in the fuse box arnt loose?

Hi Emma,

all connection tight and good, thats the confusing part, I thought it might be a loose earth but that's good as well. what i don't understand is why the rear window light is working and the others are not , are they run by 2 different swithes?

many thanks

not sure have you checked the wires at the back of the lights silly question i know leave it with me and il try and find out

That’s a tough one. It could easily be a break in the wiring. I think they are run on parallel circuits but otherwise I’m not sure. I would refer back to the fuses however also check all the connectors for the lights as well.
