Technical Hi having an issue whith fuse 51 on my Ducato. Blows mostly directly all the time. But somteimes not!! Have anyone else had this problem?

I am having an issue whith fuse 51 on my Ducato.
Blows mostly directly all the time. But sometimes not at all!
Have anyone else had this problem?

F51 Air conditioning, electric power steering control unit, reversing lights, diesel fuel filter water sensor, mass air flow sensor, chronotachograph dashboard box for a 2017.
Quite a number of things to go wrong. The dead revearsing light causing MAF problems is a favourite conumdrumn. How rapidly does fuse blow? Instantly or works for while. If later then put into reverse. Else its a question of disconnect each then check one by one.

It blows instantly.
But all of a sudden it works for a while.
Have tried obd scanner but dont get any fault codes.

Fault codes by scanner are not a magic solution , if you get a code it is a clue to start fault finding .
It is quite clear there is a short circuit on one of the circuits powered by fuse 51.
A fault code can never tell you where a short circuit is located just which circuit/s it is on.

Have tried to locate the servotronic unit to the power steering.
But cant find it anywhere if the short circuit is in the unit.
someone who knowes?

Do you have electric power steering or hydraulic power steelring?
When fuse blown does steering become very difficult?

But when the problem started i could drive
a couple of meters before i blow the fuse.
Thats why i thought it could have something to do with the power steering.
Now it blows directly or not at all,and i can

I found the problem myself when
I was below the car looking for loose cables
I was almost givning it upp when i saw
Something strange inside the rim on one side.
It was i bit of Wood that was stuck inside the rim and it was squeezing the wear warning cable to the brake pads against the rim.
the Cable short slope when it was in contact With the rim.
Not all the time but mostly
One in a million to find that little bit of Wood.
No problem anymore since i took it out.
