Mk1 UTs came with black mirrors as standard..unless Fiat started colour coding them towards the end. A lot of owners i think colour coded them themselves

you're talking about the lenses back? Equip only as the Fiat UNO orange. only in the 90s, Fiat produced the taillights black mounted only INNOCENTI mille clip. However, being interchangeable, many, like me, use mount them on a turbo because they are very beautiful. us in Italy we use to say, "with orange lights seems a UNO 45"

competition as companies ARIC, Leart FIFFT sell these lenses and dark colored or white. I show you some examples soon

Looks like they were available with both. One pic below shows a Fiat Uno Turbo advert with black plastic mirrors, the other is a photo of a Fiat Uno brochure I have showing a Uno Turbo with colour coded mirrors. Sorry for the poor quality but I don't have a scanner and had to use my digi cam!

It also looks like most mk1 owners these days, at least all those that I've seen, fit colour coded mirrors to their cars.

It was the phase 3 Mk1 Uno Turbo's (with the single black side stripe decal) that had the colour coded mirrors. F-reg onwards i think.

mirrors painted, arrived in late 1987. concurrently installing the new type of gearbox where the control levers inside the cockpit and not spend more under the body as it did from 1986 to early '87
