hi from sunny walsall!!!!!

just want to say hi to all on the forum

i am picking my wifes little 09 plate 500 up next week & must admit i am looking forward to giving her a little blast down the A38 back to sunny walsall (the car not the missus)
took it for a test drive on tuesday & i still had the smile on my face when i got home.
she has gone for the 1.2 pop with some little extras that are already fitted.

would be gratefull to hear if i should be looking out for anything once we pick it up as in little probs for the future.

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum. :wave:

The 500 is a great little car and the amazing fuel economy that some of the owners achieve (check JRKitching's Fuelly sig) is remarkable. Smiles are the norm and apart from one or two niggles (engine breather splitting being the most common) there aren't many problems reported in the 500 section.

Make sure you pop over and introduce yourself and let us know more about the car and what extras you have, but in the meantime here is a good guide as to what to look for. It is still under construction so new bits get added all the time.

PS. Stop fibbing about it being sunny up there, lol.
