Like most people (I assume) I seem to find specific car owners forums as a result of seeking a solution to a car related problem. I have owned a 2004 1.9 JTD ELX Multipla for 5 years now and I have to say that although my motoring has not been totally trouble free it has been an enjoyable experience. Although recently my wallet has not been quite so happy ..
I have been driving for 44 years and of all the cars I have owned (14) in total, my Mk1 Multipla is the most practical car I have ever owned. This car took 6 of us down through France to near Gibraltar and back and never missed a beat, and returned over 45mpg into the bargain.
Oh and my Multipla problem : It occasionally hesitates on acceleration, after the revs have dropped, ie on overrun approaching a roundabout etc.
I have 'dosed' it with Comma Injector cleaner and it is definately much better though - so fingers crossed..
