Hello all
Just joined, dont have a Fiat just yet but was looking at a 2001 Fiat Punto 1.2 Sporting for sale locally Always liked the look of these cars, and I learned to drive in one so they have a bit of sentimental value to me (is that weird?) lol
Basically, I've got a Mk4 Ford Mondeo 2.5t (5 cylinder Volvo lump) that i'm getting an average of 18MPG in around town (ouch!). I want a runabout daily and remember how smart the sporting looked with its body kit, 6 speed 1.2 engine etc. This ones in that nice light blue colour too.
One question i have though, are these cars really rare, cant find any on ebay or autotrader, just the facelift (Mark 2.5?) ones which i dont like so much (sorry!)
Anyway, enough rambling. If anyone happens to have a sporting for sale, or some advice to completley get the thought out of my head - i.e. are they rare for a reason? then let me know
