Hey there! I'm new too congratulations on your purchase I've got a 2000 MK2 ELX and like yours it needs a few little jobs doing, some tatty bits on the paint etc. £600 with a new MOT and had it for about three weeks I love it so far.

Hi,well an easy thing to check first are front brake pads,simple to install urself,i had a 1996 punto mk1,good car,now i drive mk2 with 112000 miles,going lovely,make sure to change engine oil every 5ooo miles,and use semi synthetic,its very important,also change gearbox oil also at 100k miles,and of course see when cambelt was changed last,needs new one every 65ooo miles,happy motoring,oh yeah last thing,head gaskets go on puntos,watch coolant level,and change evry 3 years,make sure u bleed system when u do,any questions contact me,tony

hi,my name is tony,just joined yesterday,on my second punto,its a 2000 mk2,110k miles,going fine,changed front struts weekend,NEVER AGAIN!,pig of a job even with spring compressors,so sorry i didnt bring it 2 garage,only 60 euro to fit them,spent 8 hours doing one strut,HELL!!!!
