Well just thought i would say hello to everyone on here 
I am a fiat punto lover, i have had 2 so far. My first one never gave me any problems but after having it for years i thought i would upgrade to a 2006 model. I was going for something a little bigger but fell in love with the car I saw now. It's nothing extravagant but as my old Punto was reliable I went for the newer model.
Everything was fine up until last week when I switched on the engine after finishing work and all the warning lights on the dashboard stayed on. The lights and indicators worked when I checked but the speedometer, petrol gauge etc didnt! I had to drive home not knowing how fast i was going!!! I pulled over several times and switched off the engine then switched it back on but the warning lights remained. Anyway the next morning when i dubiously switched the engine on again everything worked fine so i thought no more of it. However, if anyone has any ideas about why this happened or what it could be, i would be grateful to hear from you.
The most recent problem i have had is this morning. As most of you know it is pretty cold in Manchester at the moment so we all need the heating. Unfortunately when i switched the engine on the heater or blower fan didnt come on when moving the dial between 0-4. This meant the windscreen didnt clear as no air was going to it so i had to drive the 20 miles to work with the windows down. Needless to say i was "freezing" by the time i got to work at 7.30am!! I have been led to believe that it could be a fuse or a resistor (which means nothing to me!). Does anyone have any ideas? I would be soooooo grateful!!
