I've just bought my 1st Fiat and have just found this site , so hi to all!!!!

My life would be complete (well my Fiat would be) if I could find someone with securing pins for the front calipers - apparently when the previous owner had the front brake pads replaced, the passenger side caliper pin wasn't put back!! and the drivers side pin is missing the clip - there was me driving around with a flapping caliper.............good job my stepson (mechanic) was giving it a service when he was, otherwise I might not have been writing to you now!!!! I did contact the Fiat dealer but they said that the pins/clips were only available in a kit at a cost of almost £30 - and then they didn't have them in stock...........

Anyway..........if anyone could help I'd be really grateful

Thanks for the welcome, I've got myself a little Punto - great for nipping round town. I'll go and investigate the Punto forum, thanks for the nudge in the right direction.

Forget the Fiat dealers. Go to your local scrap yard and you should be able to pick up some there, or find someone on FF breaking a Punto. You should be able to get the pins for peanuts
