Hi everyone we have just ordered a Panda 1.2 Easy with some other bells and whistles due in at beginning of July.
We drove a fair few other marques before settling for the Panda. Its 20 years since I've owned a Fiat and the engine was in the boot!
I've been a member of many other motor forums and normally find them pretty useful so it made sense to come here!
Being a service manager and spanner man hopefully I may be able to offer some help to others although I'm not clued up on Fiats.
See you around! :D

Hi divingscubaboy,

Welcome to the forum as well.

Good choice with your car; although I would say that of course as it's the same model as mine!(y)

We've had ours for a year now and it has been a pleasure to drive so far. We previously had a 500, but due to my wife's joint condition it was becoming a real effort getting our little boy in and out of the back. We didn't really like the look of the previous Panda, but we saw that the new model was coming out soon and it did look smart. So that was lucky!

Although we miss the little things about owning a 500, I'd be lying if I said I would swap our Panda for one now. The amount of space and flexibility in the Panda has been really useful for us, and it's just as much fun as driving the 500. I love giving the engine a good little blast every now and then; I reckon you'll be pleasantly surprised how well the 1.2 performs.

What other options have you specced just out of interest?

Hi super uwe

We have specified the following extras:

Spare wheel
Techno pack (blue & me and **** nav with steering wheel controls)
Split fold rear seat with extra belt and headrest (3 rear seats rather than 2)
Electric mirrors
Carpet mats
Because they were a bit tight on the trade in I offered I have only paid an additional £50 above easy spec so feels like I'm getting a deal!
My wife will drive it mostly but it'll be fun for me to get in a small car again!

Cheers for the info.

Sounds like a really good deal, sometimes I do wish I'd specced the Techno Pack in our car, but I've never used a sat nav, my mobile phone is a piece of **** and I am happy twiddling with the knobs on the stereo!:) So all in all, it wouldn't have been worth it!:D

Think you are the only other person on here so far that I have seen who has added electric mirrors to their Easy! Ours were added for free, although I have to say they very rarely get used - am sure I could have coped with the manual adjusters.

Hopefully the next few months will pass quickly enough!(y)

We specced the techno pack only because we wanted the bluetooth and aux for the stereo. You cant have steering wheel controls without the techno pack. Not bothered about the sat nav as I can read a map!
Went for leccy mirrors as we both will drive it and have very different seating positions.
Spare wheel essential as I don't need the hassle of not being able to continue my journey due to a knackered tyre.
