Hi there!

I am looking to upgrade my front Bravo JTD brakes, they are 257mm and the HGT ones i think are 284mm.
What i would like to know is, what parts do i need beside the calipers brake pads and discs.

Best Regards

I've just broken my beloved Marea 2.0 & will have everything you'll need inc. practically new discs & pads...! Well thats if your interested...! I think you'll need discs, calipers, pads & hubs.!

The JTD has HGT shocks and springs but 1.8 brakes - so just the hubs and breaks at a guess...

Hgt or Marea 20v front brakes will not fit the Jtd, trust me Ive tried. They use different hubs.

I think your best bet would be grooved disks and a good performance pad.

NED - Thats why TommyK & i have said hubs are needed aswell....!

Thats right.... i remember Ned trying it... I couldn't for the life of me remember who it was with the white bravo who gave it a go... and the outcome.

I personally can't see the point of fitting HGT brakes.... but I guess buying the parts works out cheaper than fitting up-rated stuff all the time.

but yes mate ur right... they don't fit unless you change the huns :)

Thanks for all the reply's.

Well i feel that the stock jtd brakes are a little weak, and with the increased performance i will have, i would like to have better braking power.

With the hubs from HGT, i dont think the stock JTD shocks will fit.. HGT ones, i think, are exclusive to that model, 35mm struts vs 25mm of the JTD ones.

Nuno - I have spare front struts & Springs aswell...! I've broken several Bravos in the last year or so so have many many spare parts...! I can do you Hubs, calipers, discs & pads if you want??? Discs & pads are practically new......! There all still in one piece at my mates garage so if your interested i'll get some pics taken & send you them if you want a look.....!

Nice1.....
Just let me know...!

Off the top of my head, i think the hubs cant be changed because the drive shafts are diffrent.

Im not a 100% though.

I looked into it,but put brembos on instead.
