Hi all, im Sam, im 17 and from hertfordshire, i just got my self a little cinquecento, well i got two of them one silver and one pink..

is there anything i really need to be looking out for on these cars? as ive never had a car before. all i know is that the alternator is on its way out?!

are they sportings or 899cc jobbies?

if sporting head gaskets can be common and watching the temp gauge can be a god send as they run quite hot normally but one overheat can see the head gasket gone otherwise generally the rear bushes are a weak point, rust in rear arches (inside the car) can be a problem, as can clutch cables (on sportings at least)

otherwise they're cracking cars for the money
