Hey folks i'm Ben, just stumbled accross this place and wounderd if anyone could put my mind at rest...

I currently own a Fiat Punto SX 55.... :yuck:

What i want to know is, what does the SX and the 55 mean? ? It's not important just one of those little things that picks at your brain. so if anyone knows it would be a great help.

SX refers to the trim level (there are stickies in the Punto section explaining further)

55 means it is a 1.1L engine and produced 55bhp (at the flywheel) or thereabouts when new

SX doesnt mean anything IIRC It was just to signify the model/trim level it is.

55 represents the 'bhp' of your car, although its wrong as its actually 54bhp, but 55 is a nicer number.

55 models were 1108cc also
