Hi - I'm new to the forum and wondered if anyone might be able to give me some help. I bought my 2002 Multipla 115 JTD with the engine in the boot. The cambelt was broken , the local dealer had removed the engine , inspected it and told the owner that the car was not worth repairing. I bought it and set about putting it right. We have ran it for two years and whilst it has been dead reliable I was always disappointed in how the car performed - it is really "flat". I had a drive in a 110 JTD today and the difference was night and day. I think the problem with mine might be something to do with the throttle body ,there is no vacuum for the butterfly to open and close. At the back of the engine there is a vacuum reservoir but when I bought the car all the pipes had been pulled off and I had to guess where they went. Unfortunately the 110 has a different set up. Has anyone got a 115 JTD, that lives fairly close to Leicester, that I could have a look at so I can be sure the vacuum pipes are correct. The car has had a new EGR valve, MAP sensor and MAf sensor all to no avail. My wife wants to cut our losses and sell the car but I would like to get it running right and keep it.
Sorry for such a long first post but any help would really be appreciated.

Hi Thanks for the offer. The vacuum pipe is quite hard to follow but it goes from a small , round black diaphragm on the side of the throttle body , goes into a clip which also has the vacuum pipe that goes to the turbo over-boost valve , these two pipes then go into a silver tube heat protector that runs at the back of the engine , and then onto the vacuum reservoir that sits in the middle of the engine just under the inlet manifold. It is a little bit awkward to see/feel but any help would be great.
Thanks Rich
