Hi, after my 1100 uno fire's headgasket blew we towed it in and must have for gotten it in gear cause the block is now completely gone(cracked). I can get a 1.2 8v palio engine for a lot cheaper than the fire engine and im assured by the engine dealer it would fit on the gearbox and mountings, and the only thing i need is a electronic fuel pump for the carb. The only problem is that the carb intake has to be made to fit the new engine. Can it be done? Has it been done before? i want to do the job myself to save money so any info would help.
