Technical Help! Short Shifter issues

After rolling around on the floor tryin to see how my b&m short shifter is going to fit i really cant see how it will, anyone else had similar issues? or am i being stupid? anyone got one? btw its a mk1 uno turbo

Hmmm it won't fit an early MK1 which has the 2 gear linkage rods that run under the car (bottom shift gearbox)

fits in just like this to a top shift box (AntsUno2 pic)

if you got the bottom shift box, you could convert to a top shift gearbox, or sell it me cheep for my converted 1299er

Edit.. see you got Beau's 1299er which had the bottom shift box originally and think it still has.. best start the search for a top shift box, longer half shaft, clutch cable with pulleys, gear linkages with pivot, centre stack with gear surround oh an a clutch kit...
