Hi folks,
I am trying to see if anybody else has experienced a similar problem to me with my Uno 999.
It all began when I bought the car and it ran very cool and the heater did not work. Ok, I have lived with this for a while but the Winter nearly killed me, I decided to sort out the heater, I thought how hard can it be!!
The car decided to beat me to it and recently began to cut out once it got a bit warmer, normal temp, particularly in traffic. I bypassed the heater and this seemed to work but I had no real time for a proper test. Today, I took the heater vavle out and flushed it and the heater matrix and now I have a wonderful heater, should've done it sooner.
Brought the car for a run and it is still cutting out at about one third temperature but before the fan cuts in. All the hoses are getting hot water so good circulation. I am thinking that the petrol might be evaporating as the gets warms up.
When the car is cool it runs perfectly. Any ideas
