I need some feedback from you Croma owners.
You will need (preferably) a trolley jack or vehicle hoist.
What I'm after is a feel & noise feedback
1) jack left/nearside front wheel from ground leaving offside wheel on ground or otherwise locked if using a vehicle hoise.
2) select 1st gear
3) very gently rotate wheel from stop to stop. With luck you will old have about 2.5, max 5 degrees of free play.
4) now rapidly and firmly rotate wheel from stop to stop
On step 4 what sort of sound / noise do you hear.
Is it a firm dull thud or more like a load metalic "clack" sound.
If you have done this sort of thing before on other cars/Fiats then you will be familiar with the dull thud.
I really need to get some feedback on this.
If you live on the South Coast, preferably not too far from Southampton then I'm also willing to come and hear your car and demo mine.
