I bought some 13" alloys for my fiat uno and i took them to quick-fit to get them fitted but they said they cant put them on as i need bigger spacers? any idea's where i can get some from? because im lost...
What 13" alloys are they? ie what car have they come off?
Have a look on the back of the alloy and post back the offset, should be et**.
Then we can work out if you need spacers
Also, why didnt you fit them yourself? You would save money, have the satisfaction of doing it yourself, and most importantly not let any quikfit cowboys near your car!
yo, if it is ut alloys you'll need spacers for the back as the ut is wider @ the back than your normal uno's and the ut alloy's are made to fit the ut. normal alloys should fit just fine.
if so, they WILL fit but what you will idealy need is a set of proper sized spigot rings. thats why they dont fit the hub. If they came with them (little coloured ring that goes in the centre where the wheels will go onto the hub) then they are probably wrong, specialy if they dont fit
you will need to measure the diameter of the little recess where the spigot rings go and then tell
this bloke that you need the spitgots of that size to a fiat size
he will know the rest.
As for spacers. those wheels are a 38offset which should be fine although it would make they look a little better with some 5mm spacers (can get them from halfords) as it would make the wheels stick out a bit further. they will probably look lost in the arches with that width and offset
