help needed!!

Hi, I have just posted this somewhere else on the forum so apologies for repeating myself!! i have a 2000 W plate Bravo Trofeo special ed., which 6 weeks ago had a new clutch and CV boot. Crappy garage caused it to fail its MOT on the CV boot, leaking oil on gearbox. New garage replaced boot, and since then the clutch pedal has been intermittently sticking, then springs back up, it engages all gears well, feels like has normal pressure, and there is no play in the pedal. Have very little money, and RAC man assures me its a cheap minor problem, possibly needs lubrication??? Any ideas, diagnosis welcome as my 3 year old son travels in the car so need it safe. Bit disheartened too as it flew thru last years MOT, but this year failed, although now sorted (ish), and has 12 advisories. ANY IDEAS????
