help needed - MOT and sidelights

my car was involved in a crash back in january but couldn't scrap her because she is my baby, i have just had an MOT yesterday and it failed on sidelights. i'm a bit confused because all the lights work. before the crash i had marea lights but when i fixed it i had to put standard bravo lights back in and now have extra wires and bulbs - could this be the problem?

Do the sidelights work?

Maybe the wiring hasn't been connected to the headlights.

sidelights are working - i didn't realise till i got home that it had failed on these, matey told me when i picked up the car that it failed on a brake hose (will read the sheet next time).
