HELP NEEDED FOR SAFE MODE STEREO

Hi all im just needing a bit of help for my Dads car stereo (V-reg fiat brava) he recently put a new battery in and now the stereo is buggered (AD182H2 Model)

it says in the manual a bit about the code key thing but he bought the car second hand and never got a code key thingy.

the stereo is stuck in safe mode , now is there anyway around this without having to take it to Fiat and getting charged a fortune ??

There must be a some sort of default code that can be input to over-ride this function. (possibly a fiat employee with a bit of knowledge)

Any help would be appreciated

Some auto electrical factors should be able to do it cheaper than Fiat can.

i got my code number from the original fiat dealer by telephone.
if you do take this option, you may be asked to for proof of ownership.

yeah take your v5 along to your fiat dealer and they may help
