What do I do? I've had the sporting for 5 1/2 years...and its Mine! Y'all will know what i mean! And I will hopefully be having to get a family car once the wife gets pregnant so this could be my last chance to own a Turbo'd car for a while.

Should I go for it...or should I keep the Sporting?

Personally I prefer the Sporting you have, its well tight. Cosmetically it looks a million times better than the GT2 and as you said the sporting is "your car" so its not going to be the same if somebody else is driving it around :p

But then again the Gt2 is a turbo so perhaps that might sway you, cosmetically your sporting is much nicer on the eye but Im not looking at it from a turbo point of view...

Change is good...and like you said, may be the last time you're gonna own a 'fun' car for a while!

Personally, I'd go for it. I wouldnt wait to be asked twice! But then its up to you mate! 8) Fair play the GT maybe isn't as nice cosmetically but it has a turbo! End of ;)

id go for the GT2 tbh GT2 is the rare model and i think the car will have been well looked after.

go fot the GT mate. I only wish i colud afford the insurance for one lol or i would have had one

Keep the sporting mate. I know that GT has been up for sale for months, even tho it was at a silly price, there must be some reason no-one wants it? Plus you got a newer car with the sporting 8)

I know the GT has been up for sale for months, but I think thats because he was asking far too much to begin with...and now everyone just thinks there is something wrong with it. I've seen it as it is my mates and I know that it is a clean looking car (apart from the big dent in the drivers door! )

Speaking of the dent...the paint isn't cracked so should be fixable...and is nothing compared to the dent in my passenger door which the paint has cracked on and a large chunk taken out of it by the hinge! Gately knows what I'm talking about...he's seen it!

But my main worry has been brought up...the GT doesn't look as good as my Sporting. That is one of my main concerns. I like turning heads in that car, even if it hasn't had much done to it...but it does get looks from people...especially with the growl of the K&N! ;)

But its a GT I'm being offered! vvrrroooomm...Ppptsscchh!! I'm never gonna get the chance to do that again for the forseeable future! And already got plans to change the GT if I get it...its being turned into nightrider! ;) Tinted rear clusters, side repeaters and indicators. Keep my wheels and paint them black.

but I still don't know! :(

go for it! u will get great fun outa it! and then u can get ur family car and have a family life! but go for it! why not! who cares about looks if uv got a turbo!

id def go for it. it looks a v.clean gt. all that would be needed for it to look great would be a set of OZ super leggeras lowered. its best to get a more or less standard gt then add as, like you said, it ill feel like your car.

Well i decided over the weekend, to go for it...and messaged him today. he got back to me tonight to say that he had someone looking at it who was very keen, and that he would rather have the cash rather than my car!

Gutted!

But he's gonna get back to me about it if he doesn't hear from the guy. And I'm gonna be seeing if I can keep my wheels...not Superleggera, but close enough! ;)
