General Help!! Marea Stereo Problem

Hello guys and gals,

I could do with some advice. I've just attached a new battery to the car and everything is pukka except that the radio doesn't work now. It comes up with the word "safe" for a couple of secs then asks for a code. I don't have the code for it and the car didn't come with any manuals.

Would any of you out there know how I can get the code or how to get the stereo working again?

Sorry for asking for help on my first posting but I do hope to be a regular on the forum as the threads are really interesting and good fun to read. Hope to get involved in a few threads too.

Hope someone can help with the radio code issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated.:worship:

Fiat dealers should be able to get you a code for a small fee.

Think they need the car. Other places you can try are car radio specialists (obviously) and other garages. There are things you can download off the net apparantly but I wouldn't know where or what to look for.

Cool. I have a Fiat dealer about 10 minutes drive away so will pop down there tomorrow.

Ok I'm a big liar.. I found where to get them online.

They do codes online. Could cost between £9 and £25 depending on the model.
