hello all,

haven't been on here in a wile! any way... i have a problem, some cheeky tosser disided it was ok to not tell me about spilling a bit of cement on the side of my car. i gave it a quick wash but it has a bit sort of left on it. looks like it had dulled the paint but when i scrape it, it feels like there is still a thin layer on it... well i hope so anyway.

any advise of product i can use?

this is a pic:

Re: Help!

for fook sake dont rub it or scrape it....

you got a foam lance?

if not first try a strong mix of all pourpose cleaner in a spray bottle allow to soak then pressure washer off (at an angle don't blast it at 90 degrees to the car)

any stubborn bits get some autoglym wheel cleaner (its acidic) or even jiff lazy lemon or watered down brick acid vinigar then pressure wash again...

Re: Help!

I had cement (well concrete) all over the side of my car over the summer (i thaught i moved the car far enough away but hadn't) :bang: by the time i had realized it had set

anyhow sprayed it with AG wheel cleaner foamed the car then pressure washed came off no problem (but the car was well waxed)

Why you do it so many times? You wouldnt be making it better you would put layers on then wax then tcut and take it back down again as the tcut is abrasive and cuts through the wax.
