I sold my Cinq to my mum a year ago and bought a Seicento 1.1 sporting. Apart from a few hiccups - binding brakes, crappy handbrake, snapping handbrake cable and an incident with a hidden pothole that nearly wrote her off, she's been a fab little car.
Went for MOT yesterday and was FAILED!!! Only one thing - "
Offside inner front suspension arm has excessive play in a pin/bush"
Well, the husband looked at her, couldn't find any problems with the pins and after 3 hours noticed in the back of the suspension arm one bolt was tight but the other had been over tightened, stripping the threads.
Said bolt removed, replaced with newer, stronger bolt and plate. Went back for MOT this morning and passed with flying colours :slayer:
So I'm going for a drive this afternoon to test her out, hooray!
