Hello I'm.alan from.wales, joined her as spent the last few days pulling my hair out with my partners 2009 1.4. First the brakes, then the rear beam axle now the clutch. Lovely little car to drive but nightmare to work on so on here to pick the brains of people more.knowledgable about these cars than me

Cheers, it's my partners car and I've sussed doing anything on this car generally involves bolts randomly snapping with worrying regularity and an easy job turns into a ballache. Also little touches like using Allen head bolts on rear brakes meaning you have to take the hub off to get at them, resulting in the hub studs snapping. If my Mrs wasn't so fond of this car it would have had a viking burial years ago
