Hello I decided to join as you seem a cheerful crowd, the food looks good, there's plenty to drink and you're playing my kind of music
I hope to be able to 'give' more than 'take' from the forum, my dad was a mechanic and I've inherited his love of tinkering, although my working life so far has been more agricultural. I had been driving taxis part-time since 1989 and eventually took over the business, however I had to give up, for personal reasons (I'll tell you about it sometime) about 3 years ago. I miss it and may well go back to it, still have the cars sitting about, including a Multipla JTD Eleganza (?) and a Citroen Relay, converted to 8-seater, which I'm guessing is made by Fiat, as things like tyre pressure stickers are in Italian?
I bought the Multi (as you guys seem to call them) with 35k miles and it's now something like 135k, hasn't been on the road for 3 years, it needs the rear axle bushes doing, among other things. A very distinctive and versatile car, able to hold lots of luggage/shopping/pets/what-have-you, elderly people in particular liked it as it was easy to get into.
Ok that's enough about me, I will move on and see what everyone else is saying!
