Just joined, but have been reading forum for quite a while now.
Am the proud owner of a Cinquecento 1998 - had it from new. never a problem apart from a flat battery - oh and last week she just decided to come to a grinding halt on a double red line in busy central London!! Towing truck towed me to my local Fiat Dealer who sorted the problem in no time.A crankshaft sensor replacement!!! Didn't even know such a thing existed!!
Also my elderly mother has justed decided to swap her 37 year old VW Beetle - had it from new -for a Panda Eleganza 1.2 Dual logic. I know I've read contrasting reports on the Dualogic gearbox but she felt it suited her needs. Apart from the occasional jerk when first driving off is there anything else she aught to be looking out for?
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
