alright everyone, just thought id say hello as im a new member and i need to ask for some help.

Iv got a punto activesport 53 reg, and im looking at sticking 17's on it.

is this a good idea?? i will be lowering it aswell and how much you think i should lower it??

sorry if thi question has been asked loads of times before, just im a little stuck and need some advice.

hi! welcome to the forum
personally i wouldn't go for 17" as you'll loose acceleration and have poor handling as you have a light engine therefore it would understeer

how comes the handling will be poor?? i thought it would make it better.

wat size do u think i should go for??

and also im looking to get a induction kit, any recommendations??? ha ha

you've not enough weight for the tyre surface area, 17" are ok for looks, 15" best for handling, 16" compromise between both but expensive on tyres
as for ind kit get a gsr kit, do a search for user name oldschool he makes them, if your after an exhaust go for supersprint

yep make sure you get the right offset (35mm i think) so they don't rub when you get the car lowered

ha ha sorry but what is the offset?? ha h i know literally nothing about cars.

i think its the difference between the center of the wheel width and the hub, to much either way and you'll either hit the strut or the wheel will stick outside the bodywork.
also you'll need a pcd of 4 x 98mm thie is the bolt pattern, 4 x 100mm will fit with wobble bolts where you get the wheels from should be able to supply these
