hi just thought id say hello im new to old fiats, mostly had aircooled vw's, but just bought a little fiat 850t camper van! always wanted one but they very rarely come up for sale, loving having something different and enjoy welding so ideal car for me... lol

yep, already started the strip down, and as i thought the whole bottom 6' needs new metal! but there is only one patch needed on one of the outriggers so underneath is pretty solid. waiting for a new water pump and fuel pump then i can get it running before the mechanicals come out.

Take some pics at each stage and post them as you go - will be good to see the transformation! Then you can start bringing it to the meets!

well after 2 days ive finally got the engine running! new electric fuel pump, and water pump (at an eye watering £135) and the old girl is moving without being pushed, towed or rolled lol. engine and gearbox out next so i can get cracking on the welding...
